Through My Eyes
*
More work on the hair of Tara Drolma! I only worked one side this week. I'm working a bit slower now as there's more business stuff to worked on. I'll tell more of this when you come! I tried a somewhat different modelling technique this time...
![]() We can see the deep shadow beneath the hair from the deep space beneath it. This is called undercutting in sculpture. I'm trying to get the feeling of her hair streaming back from her forehead onto her shoulders.
![]() Once the feeling of the hair's weight and texture is there I'll work on the upswept parts flying in the wind and the headress and braids! The undercut helps to create the feeling of the hair but it still looks a bit heavy. I'll try smoothing the curve a bit but I don't want to make the section thinner or it will lose strength. It actually looks more graceful than this photo shows however.
You remember I was going to bring us some stats for the site. Here they are!
![]() Here we can see that our infosite had over 13,000 visits in December and 44,000 pages were viewed! There was a steady increase before that. I 'd like to think that was because of our work on the pages for a Windhorse project in November! I hadn't set up the stats for our infosite before October so there isn't anything before then.
![]() Here's the numbers for January. It's probably going to be several thousand at this rate. I tried to figure out more about the results but found the effort confusing. Anyway, many people are visiting the site and looking at lots of pages! There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
