Through My Eyes

More work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma!  It's something of a relief to get back to work in the studio!  Here we can see I've completed the initial filling in of the water on this side.

It's a bit difficult to see in this picture but I've smoothed the clay closer to the side with water and left the other side as it is when I've just completed the initial work so we can see the stages.  We can see the wet towels and rags in the background that I use to keep the clay moist. The clay in this section generally needs a fair bit more water  since it is not as thick and tends to dry more rapidly between sessions. There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
