Through My Eyes

Continuing work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma! Here I'm working on the folds in the cloth. These will both portray her movement and reinforce the sculpted cloth.

I've also made lots of progress weaving the cloth for our prayer flags! As I mentioned it actually takes longer to prepare the warp than it does to actually weave the cloth so I am thinking about ways to make this process a bit easier. Much ot this of course gets simpler with practice. I went on a short retreat to a Tibetan Buddhist monastery; it is a wonderful place! I haven't any pictures to bring us yet but I know there is much we can learn of the Tibetan faith and the prayer flag script. There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
