Through My Eyes

With the work on the loom I haven't yet had a chance to work on the  sculpture of Tara Drolma this week. I did create a frame to make assembling the warp threads easer though!

It's actually a rather hastily thrown together construction of crate wood that holds the two ends of the loom at a fixed distance. Then I can simply run the thread between them. It works wonderfully and, as I mentioned, I was able to prepare the loom fairly quickly. The length can be adjusted by attaching the ends of the frame to the center boards at different spots. I made the loom several feet long this time to see if it were possible.

As we can see the weaving does go rather quickly;I did most of this in a few hours!  There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
