Through My Eyes

Continuing work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma! Here I'm working my way to the next side...

This side is somewhat more difficult because of the slanted bevel on top of the side peice. I have to build up the clay to make it square on top and similar to the other sides.

Moistening the clay and towels worked just fine to restore the moisture lost in the heated air fortunately!  We can see I'm building up the clay to make the rim much less obvious and more natural. There's more to go on the side then it will be time to put a sill underneath the base to hold the casting material!  There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
