Through My Eyes
*
With trying to support in demonstrations I haven't had time to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma. I thought I'd bring us some pictures of the UN near where some of the demonstrations have been held.
![]() We can see that none of the flags except that of the UN itself are up yet. This was taken early in the morning.
![]() Here is the flag of the U.N.
![]() Here the flags are being raised. We were not demonstrating at this spot but at a plaza across the street on the far end of the UN facility. In fact I was told after a week of demonstrating by an officer that the conditions don't even allow him to permit us to walk past the U.N. holding it. I had to go the other way around the block. I was very sad. I don't feel the UN has lived up to it's stated ideals at all and it is a great shame. There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
