Through My Eyes

With the demonstrations and the season's work in the Grove I haven't  had time to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma. I thought I'd bring us a video of the funeral that was held on Monday for the Tibetans to have been killed in Tibet whose names are known. This was taken by a member of the Tibetan Youth Congress.

We can hear the chanting and praying and some of the speeches. The video only really shows some of the coffins. As I mentioned it made for a very long march line, a very big stack and a very sad heart.

Let's look upon the faces of some of these  brave and gentle people. I have tried to include links to any information about them that was available.

May all they and all their courageous Tibetan brothers and sisters that sacrificed their lives to peacefully protest for freedom have favorable rebirths and  swiftly attain enlightment. In the meantime we must work our very hardest to make certain it was not in vain. As they have shown us compassion is accompanied by an unshakeable determination to help those who suffer. There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
