Through My Eyes

With the demonstrations and work in the Grove I haven't been able to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma except to keep the clay moist. I meant to begin the casting earlier but with the arrival of the Olympics I thought it better to help in NYC. Let's watch a movie in the meanwhile. This is called Tashi Shok and is sung by Sonam Wangmo.
If the comments accompanying the movie are correct it illustrates the terrible dilemma that artists face in Tibet. Revealing their true feelings can result in imprisonment, not doing so imprisons their spirit. In this song Tashi Shok actually means " let the auspiciousness return" and is actually a plea for the His Holiness the Dalai Lama to return. Sonam Wangmo can't actually come out and say this but you can see her feelings as she sings. There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
