Through My Eyes
*
With work in the Grove and the demonstrations in NYC I haven't been able to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma except as usual to continue to keep the clay moist. I thought we could watch a song called Tashi, sung by Yangchen Lhazin. Tashi means as it did in Sonam Wangmo's song, "auspicious". It says much of the Tibetan character that the familiar greeting expresses a desire that the recipient experience good fortune.
Good fortune and auspicious circumstances are well understood in Tibet to be the result of actions that create good in the lives of other beings. What can the nations of the world learn from a people who greet each other with the desire that everyone act in a manner that avoids creating suffering in the lives of other beings? If the CCP is allowed to continue in it's chosen course of action it is likely people of the world will be denied the opportunity to continue to experience this learning from Tibetans in their native land. Such a loss is not an "internal matter" of the CCP but a concern for all humanity.
There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
