Through My Eyes

With contined work in the Grove and resting I haven't yet been able to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma except to
keep the clay moist. I thought we could watch another Jigdo video sung by Kyidjam. It is called Tibetan Kids.
In order that their children may be educated in Tibetan culture, language and religion Tibetan parents have had to bring their children over the Himalayas to India then make the journey back to Tibet alone without them. In many cases the children are separated from their parents permanently as they cannot return to Tibet. This year the Beijing regime demanded that Tibetans in government recall their children from Tibetan schools in India as part of their attempt to crack down on the demonstrations in Tibet. When parents who are entirely familiar with the imposed Chinese governance are willing to send away their own children can it be said that Tibetans are happy with their circumstances in Tibet? That the Chinese government felt it necessary to issue such a edict is an admission that such is hardly the case. There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
