Through My Eyes
*
Working on the sculpture of Tara Drolma again! Here I'm working on one of her ears...
![]() As I described a while back she is always attuned to the cries of suffering of all beings. Especially she is the protectoress of Tibet and she hears those cries most of all.
Since I'm trying to learn a bit more this time so I thought I'd try some changes in facial expression. Here I'm attempting to portray a somewhat different feeling...
![]() I'm having the usual difficulties portraying the detail; the right eye is not as refined as the left etc. But we can see the slight smile as the skillful means of wisdom balances the pain of empathy.
All things are impermanent including imprisonment.
The prisoner of conscience always wins in the end. Their power was recognized at the beginning-because those who imprisoned them did so because they feared them. And in that prison their will and that of the collective will of those they stand for is forged, its purpose refined, it's resolve strengthened. The truth that was hidden emerges And both the will and means of those who feared them crumbles.
Veritas filia temporis.
There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
