Through My Eyes

More work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma!  This week I worked more around the eyes. It was necessary to rework one of the eyes themselves so it isn't entirely refined yet as the clay will have to harden a bit to work further. In the meantime I experimented a bit with eyebrows...

The planes aren't correct however so the eyebrow has a 'mounded up' look. It's a good example of how detailing doesn't improve things if the primary proportions and shape aren't correct.

I've rebuilt much of the upper torso and upper arms. More refining is needed but things are going quite well! There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
