Through My Eyes

                                                                                                                                           *
I've done a bit more work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma but don't yet have enough to take a picture of. But I have begun stringing the heddle for the frame loom!

The fine thread makes things a bit complicated. I've used a straightened out paper clip to help with the process. I've added another change from what I've learned by looking at a backstrap loom at the American Museum of Natural History...

In Tawu Tibet monks, nuns and hundreds of townspeople were journeying to offer prayers for His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his birthday. Instead of a day of reverence and joy they were met with bullets and tear gas leaving one monk in critical condition with a head wound and a number of others severely injured. The tourist signs in Lhasa should read:

'Welcome to Tibet. Where prayer meets bullet.'

There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
