Through My Eyes
Saturday May 20
(We continue listening to the Dalai Lama as he tells of his experience of Tibet in My Tibet written by he and Galen Rowell!)
" And feudal though the system was, it was different from any other fuedal system, because at the apex of it was the incarnation of Chenrezi, a being whom all the people, for hundreds of years, had regarded with the highest reverence. The people felt that above all the petty officials of state there was a final appeal to a source of justice that they could absolutely trust; and, in fact, no ruler with the traditions and training and religious grace of a Dalai Lama could possibly have become an unjust tyrant.
So we were happy. Desire brings discontent; happiness springs from a peaceful mind. For many Tibetans, material life was hard, but they were not the victims of desire; and in simplicity among our mountains, there was more peace of mind than there is in most of the cities of the world."

( Please see my spinning for you!)
( Tahshi Deleh gentle one! Kehrahng kusu debo yinpeh? I began the day heading up gang rinpoche ngah tso gi to continue trimming around the trees and native plants which with we two working as one pulling strongly and patiently together went quite well! The grass had grown a lot with all the rain so it was tough going! We've just about completed this for the week. It took awhile and I had to bring up the batteries by going the long way around since the stream is still quite high! Tomorrow I'll begin spraying again so that the Grove will be set before the trip to Chicago on Tuesday. It's looking quite amazing up there now! After that I rested by your Medlar tree as usual then returned to our studio to spin for you then to work on our a land of Tibet. Two as one we've fixed a few more mistakes on the pages. I'm going to put the pages up on our infosite; I'll put this up for now so we can rest.
And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow
my one gentle beautiful patient swift dream bright
long dark mane in sunlight
so for now I bid goodnight...Simjah Nahngo!)
