( We'd better make sure the gate is closed!  I thought you might like this after yet another quiet day of patience. It wasn't our warm and bright future day of course, but it was beautiful up in the Grove. The paint dried but it looks a bit dull in spots. We'll leave it till next year though and then paint it again if it still bothers us! The deer actually don't spend much time up near the Grove, preferring to browse down below. They are rather liking the fresh grass that grew back after scything in the field! I continued our work cleaning up around the trees and started winding up the hoses. With things a bit warmer, the night sounds have started again . It's quieter than before by your medlar tree though as there aren't quite as many beings singing of course.
