( Magic stones used in healing!)

" Quartz crystal points used by Siberian and Mongolian shamans come most frequently from the Sayan Mountains. This is significant because these mountains are the sacred dwelling place of the patron spirits of shamanic practice and of the spirits of the greatest shamans of the past, who help, protect, and shape the destiny of all shamans. In healing, quartz crystal points three to four inches long (7-10 cm) are used to manipulate the energy of the human spiritual body. They are used in combination with two carved pieces of wood four to five inches long to readjust the energy flow in the central axis of the body. One piece of wood is pointed on one end ( imitating the ceremonial serge post) , and represents the male principle; the other is blunt on both ends and represents the female principle. While the patient is lying down facing up,the pointed piece is placed on the chest and the blunt piece is placed on the belly. Both pieces must lie parallel with the axis of energy flow within the body. The shaman grasps the crystal with the point facing down toward the patient and passes the crystal over the axis of the patients body (usually three to nine times) until the shaman is satisfied that the power of the crystal has restored the energy flow and soul movement to a normal state within the spiritual body of the patient. Afterward, the shaman may blow three times briskly on the crown of the head to make sure it is completely clear. The pieces of wood are smudged after each use and the crystal is cleansed in alcohol (vodka is preferable to denatured alcohol because the denaturation will damage the spiritual effectiveness of the alcohol). The liquid is then thrown outside."

( Tahshi Deleh, gentle beautiful one! Kehrahng kusu debo yinpeh? I went to work with some of our native plantings and then returned to work more on the outside of the studio painting the boards for the stairs. It wasn't our warm and bright future day of course but it was beautiful! I'll put this up and add our wildflowers so we can rest since it is getting a bit late.

And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow

my one gentle beautiful patient dream bright

long dark mane in sunlight
