( We read of the spirits in the Buryat tradition!)

" All three worlds are inhabited by spirit beings that have been incarnated as either humans or animals at some time or other. You will find that most of the beings you work with belong to these spirits, especially those who once were human. Animal spirits can be perceived as individuals or as collective manifestations of their type.

Of the three types of human spirits, the ami souls in the upper world interact the least with human beings. The reason is unclear; it appears that they do not have any great desire to wander back to the middle world until they are sent there to reincarnate. Ami souls, in my perception, seem to have rather mild personalities, unlike the other two souls, and lack the same attachment to the living that often draws lower-world spirits into the middle world. It is possible that the assurance that they will soon return to the same family that they left only a short time before makes them generally uninvolved in human affairs between incarnations.

Lower world spirits are the most frequent cause of illness and psychological disturbance. These spirits whether friendly or hostile, have a negative effect on human beings when outside a human body. They have strong and distinct human personalities and should be addressed just as if they were a person. Human suns souls sometimes get hung up in the middle world after death, usually because they are still attached to a person or place, and therefore remain in the vicinity of relatives, their home, or a favorite place. In some cases, intense emotion toward some person or place will even cause a suns soul to come back to the lower world before its time to be reborn. Of suns souls that are benevolent in nature, the most dangerous are those of parents or grandparents who are close to a child, for a child's own souls will be aware of the presence of the spirit and may be drawn out of the body to get close to the suns of the deceased loved one."

( Tahshi Deleh, gentle beautiful one! Kehrahng kusu debo yinpeh? I spent the morning working in our studio then headed up to the Grove to check the trees and native plants and walked about taking pictures. The snow was melting on the fields creating lots of fascinating patterns so I took lots of pictures! I'm going to work a bit on our a land of Tibet; I'll add our wildflowers and put this up for now so we can rest.

And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow

my one gentle beautiful patient dream bright

long dark mane in sunlight

so for now I bid goodnight...Simjah Nahngo! )
