( We read more of the spirits in the Buryat tradition!)

"In the same way, you should keep this in mind, even if you do not know the names and specific identities of certain nature spirits, for the master spirits of mountains, lakes, and rivers are powerful and can assist you in your work. Think about where you were born, where you live, and where you will be doing your shamanic work. What types of mountains, rivers, lakes, or other natural features that would have master spirits of great power are located in those places? The majesty, uniqueness, and size of these places are usually directly related to the power and character of the nature spirits that have taken up residence in them. In a lot of cases these spirits are older and wiser than the average nature spirits found in trees and rocks. Most important, let your shamanic helper spirits assist you in contacting and working with such spirits: not only is it your prerogative to do so as a shaman, but the spirits will be pleased and bring you blessing when you acknowledge them as well.
Suld souls of the ancestors comprise the largest share of nature spirits, but there are certain other entities residing in nature who have never been human beings. In Evenk they are called the ojan, the "old ones," and occasionally they can cause mischief. It is said that they like to interfere with shamans on their journeys if they are not offered a share of the food set out for the ritual.
Another type of spirit of spirit found in all three worlds but which you will most often encounter in this world is the burhan. Burhan are quite powerful and can be quite formidable foes if hostile. While they seem to occur naturally, they usually manifest at events in which humans are traumatized or shocked in some way, and they can cause severe illness or soul loss. There are also benevolent burhan spirits under the authority of Golto Sagaan Tenger, patron of the gol, who are available to help humans."
(In the Buryat world the behavior of spirits depends upon their origin and nature! )  I promise to add more tomorrow...

( Tahshi Deleh, gentle beautiful one!  Kehrahng kusu debo yinpeh? I worked on the boards for your loom in the morning then headed up to the Grove to check the trees and native plants. I took lots of pictures of the stream which I will save for you to look at when you come and went to a small wood of cedars which grows another part of the hill than the Grove so we can see this place together too! Then I returned to our studio, studied a bit from our Tibetan language book and worked on our a land of Tibet. I'll add our wildflowers and put this up a bit early  so we can rest.
And so, as always we'll continue two as one on  to tomorrow
