Through My Eyes

We're on our coracle quietly resting looking out over the Lake Puma Yutso near Senegon monastery. We're watching alertly though because it is said that strange lights and mists can be seen reflecting from the lake! Puma Jangtang, Talma and Tu are the three villages along the lake although there are nomadic camping areas as well and big yak herds. Our Footprint Tibet handbook says there are fierce mastiffs but doesn't indicate if they are part of the nomad camps; perhaps they are used for herding the sheep. I'm not sure yet if the Kuru chu and Tomzhol chu rivers are in the correct spot . Basically, though grassy lakeland plain of Yamdrok Yutso and the other lakes is entered through the Monda La Pass from the region of the rivers and separates it from  the Brahhmaputra valley. At Taklung is another trading place! This is  between the Tibetans and the Bhutanese. There are a couple of monasteries here as well. There's much more to see here but it's a bit late so two as one we'll add more to the notes later beautiful one!
