The first design for your loom beautiful one. You probably recognize this as you've been looking into such things I think! I kept it really simple using only a few lengths of twine for the warp. The "beater" or part that pushes the rows of the weft together is considered a particularly sacred part of the loom. This I made from a peice of our gift from the Tenger! Isn't the wood beautiful?And so, two as one we've created the model for the loom! As I mentioned I used the harness we use with Mom's wagon. But you can see how a backstrap could be made on the loom itself!We've a few more boards to cut so I'll bring more to us later.
