Through My Eyes

Here's the design using thread whose thickness is the same as that I am spinning for you! You know how the rest works so we're just looking at the weaving part. The warp is just string but the weft is some of our spun thread. The weaving looks pretty awesome considering doesn't it? The combs aren't part of the traditional backstrap loom of course, but they make stringing the loom much easier! I've shaved down the beater a bit so that it works with the thinner thread;the twine toward the weaving holds a stick against the top of the threads so they don't fall out of the comb while the twine on the outside is tied to the backstrap. With us working two as one things are going quite well beautiful one!
