Through My Eyes
Sunday March 21
( We read of the creation of a ritual space!)
" In various procedures described in this book, I speak of creating a ritual space. Although the shaman may do her work wherever she goes, it is preferable to work in a ritual space. A ritual space helps set the state of mind for the shaman and for the people for whom shamanic work is being done. Just as the donning of ritual clothing helps the shaman to induce the state of mind that allows the spirits to work through her, so the creation of a ritual space has the same effect. When creating the ritual space, remember that no matter where you create it, the sacred circle is actually the same place. The reason is that the gol is the center of your space, and the gol is everywhere and anywhere. In this way you have continuity in your work: you are working within the same sacred circle. It is a good idea to try to arrange things in the same way whenever you set up your ritual space."
( Two as one we are beginning to create ours!) I promise to add more tomorrow...

( Tahshi Deleh, gentle beautiful one! Kehrahng kusu debo yinpeh? I spent the day in our studio working on our a land of Tibet and a bit on your loom. I was stronger today so I went up onto the hill for a short while and brought down a wagonful of tree food to the trees. It was a cold blustering March day though so I came back to the studio soon after. Two as one we continue firmly on! I spent a bit of time looking at our Tibetan dictionary. It is designed to help those interested in spoken Tibetan so it will be really helpful. The pronunciations are given using the Wylie transliteration which we are already somewhat used to from our Tibetan language book. I'll add our wildflowers then put this up a bit early so we can rest.
And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow
my one gentle beautiful patient dream bright
long dark mane in sunlight
so for now I bid goodnight...Simjah Nahngo! )
( please see my spinning for you!) .
