Through My Eyes
Saturday February 25
(We continue listening to the Dalai Lama as he tells of compassion, world peace, and happiness in My Tibet written by he and Galen Rowell!)
" We Buddhists don't worry about God. Whether there is a God or not doesn't matter. The most important thing is in our mind, here, now, and the way we use that mind in daily life. Check, investigate and create your own positive mind, and it will bring you deep satisfaction. Eliminate those thoughts that bring you the uneasiness and discomfort that come from a negative mind, from negative thoughts. I do not say that certain thoughts and things are holy and unholy. I simply consider whether they are useful or not useful for humanity and the health of our planet.
In the last century and the early part of this century, scientific and spiritual pursuits were considered far apart. People believed there was almost no common ground. But today science and spiritual values are merging. Science is also concerned about the future of humanity and the global environment. Modern scientists have become less sure of whether their work will bring a positive or negative result. So much depends on the human mind."

( Please see my spinning for you!)
( Tahshi Deleh gentle one! Kehrahng kusu debo yinpeh? I began the day heading up gang rinpoche ngah tso gi to continue our work in the Grove. After that I rested by your Medlar tree as usual before returning to our studio to spin for you. After that I worked a bit on the sculpture of Tara Drolma making measurements in preparation for securing the base of the sculpture to the stand. Then I worked on our a land of Tibet. After that I worked with the equipment and watched some Tibetan movies. Two as one we've fixed a few more mistakes on the pages as usual. I'm going to put the pages up on our infosite; I'll put this up a bit early so we can rest.
And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow
my one gentle beautiful patient swift dream bright
long dark mane in sunlight
so for now I bid goodnight...Simjah Nahngo!)
