Sarangerel has said that in the Buryat tradition, living beings are considered to have three souls. The first, called the Suns soul, reincarnates and goes on from lifetime to lifetime. The second, called the Ami, brings the body to life and assists in breathing . At the end of each lifetime the Ami flies to the World Tree at the center of all existence where it takes the form of a bird waiting for another member of the family or clan to be born . The third is the Suld soul and is the soul which defines the individual personality. At the end of each life, this soul goes out into nature and becomes a nature spirit.


	Through My Eyes Tuesday December 10 Time to check the trees again! (We are a bit further down the path ). It is quiet,cold and still...but very much alive.
