Through My Eyes

Wednesday January 8

Today  was another grey day of  winter sameness.  We could continue determinedly working in the studio ( and of course you could always bring your gouge and mallet over to the sculpture and work with me too! ) I hope you liked the table, with the light I think it looks pretty impressive!  It has given me an idea though; perhaps you might like to see a few of my drawings! ( such as they are, and with a story or two).

But let's go to a hot summer day in July!  Here we've climbed up the path toward the barn with pails of pine needles to mulch the blueberries .  This is good for them; they like the acidic soil conditions it creates ( you may know this already). So, we go across the stream to the pine trees , collect our pails of needles from the heaps beneath them and haul them back over to the blueberries .

I promise to add more tomorrow...
