Some messy tangle isn't it? It always looks that way until the leaves fill in and then everything looks grand!  Way over to the right we can see that blaze of white.  It's the serviceberry tree.  That is the way Grandpa showed me how to find it in the woods to begin with.  It is one of the first trees to bloom and it can be spotted a long way off.  (  I hope you liked the poem and the pictures of California.  I wanted to add a few more but didn't get the chance.  Weren't those raindrops awesome?  The one on the peach tree was the only real color I could bring to you on that  rainy day.  The one with the sun on the grass was even more sparkly than the camera shows.  The Windhorse project quietly continues of course.  I've been working more to get ready for our trees though!  I had to rewire part of the water pump because I accidentally let the sheltering tube I put the spliced wires  into fall upside down. So instead of being a roof, it was a sink! I took the wires apart ,dried them out and spliced them over again. Then I got the peat moss that I put into each tree hole all soaked with water and put a few buckets at each tree.  I'm telling you more of the nuts and bolts stuff now; I thought we'd been seeing long enough together that you wouldn't mind and perhaps would like it. It does give me and idea though!  For these days when it's hard to see, I will write small letters so we can experience more  of the day to day happenings  together.  They will be part of our heart link to home!  We can read together later in the week .  Right now I'm pretty tuckered out with all the schlepping about. As you may well be too.)  I promise to add more tomorrow...
