Through My Eyes

Wednesday  May 14

Coming up the hill to the Grove.  Look at that Windhorse mane! ( This is actually from Monday.  I glued together the blocks for the lotus flowers of the banner poles and worked with the banner itself a bit. I know we haven't been reading yet this week.  I've been getting in from outside late and have been rather tired.  We'll read together later in the week though.)   I promise to add more tomorrow...

*(  please click here to read of the day with me )

( Actually the whole pole idea needs to be rethought.  I took the banner outside and asked Mom and Kathy ( my sister Katheleen.  You'd really like her I think!  She is quiet and unassuming yet has  very powerful insight  and a kind and funny way of expressing  things) to hold it up.  As the wind picked it up the feeling was unbelievable. You could feel the energy of the banner quite strongly and it was a wonderful thing.  This banner isn't meant to be held rigidly or surrounded with a lot of structure.  It's meant to fly free in the wind to send it's prayers  everywhere!  Mom gave me some stalks of the Castor bean that she had grown last year and these have the right feeling and look about them.  Or it could be hung in between two trees!
I'll still work on the lotus blossoms though.  I'm in the studio now typing at one end of the carving bench in front of it and can still feel it's  power.  Our effort of the heart is  getting the help it needs I think!
And, so
           to my one dream bright
I bid goodnight!   as  we two  continue as one on to tomorrow.)
