Through My Eyes
Sunday May 18
Looking at an aronia bush. ( It's beautiful isn't it? I spent the day finishing up spraying the trees. I'm really tired; it was a lot of schlepping
around the grove. It's starting to get dry so I watered the new planting and begun hooking up the driplines. Let's read some more together
from Sarangel's book. Please click on the picture...)
*( but first please click here to read of the day with me! )
( The poem picture is actually a hummingbird taking a rest in a sumac beside the cherry tree. It's been a busy weekend and there's lots more to do! The branches need to be trained with clothespins because the new shoots are quite long now. I did read a bit about spinning this morning; it seems simple enough and rather fun. Historically it was considered a feminine occupation but that won't stop me. After all you will be carving printing blocks and doing all sorts of things traditionally regarded as masculine! I'm pretty wiped out so I'm going to add the wildflowers and then rest.
And so,
to my one dream bright
I bid goodnight as we two rise as one to continue on to tomorrow!)
