Wildflowers                 Here is mullein, the plant we saw when Preparing for Winter !  It is actually a biennial and creates the flower spike in it's second year.  I believe it's a member  of the borage family (along with borage and comfrey); it too has medicinal properties that we can learn of later.  The seeds provide sustenance to the birds in the fall and winter as well.
