Through My Eyes

With tidying up and resting I haven't yet been able to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma except to continue to keep the clay moist as usual. I have made progress on the frame loom though! We can see some wooden blocks along the side. We can see it now has just the shed roll to push the one set of warp threads up and the beam  to pull the other set up. Here it is tied together so it can be moved around easily.

The wooden blocks along the side are quite helpful.

They are used to push up the beam to pull the set of warp threads through. This works quickly and is fairly simple. Actually I can use the blocks on one side and pull up the other using the beam as a lever but it is easier to take the picture this way! Things are coming along quite well !  There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
