Through My Eyes                                                                                                                                                                                          *  I haven't yet had time to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma but I've been continuing to work on a new design for the frame loom!  We can see the cross peices I've turned including the shed roll. I'm carving a simple lotus blossom motif for each side of the shed roll. It looks rather interesting I think! It's a bit heavy though so I need to make this part hollow as it is on the backstrap loom and the earlier frame loom design. We can see some of the finishing sample blocks which have been finely polished to a uniform sheen. The next part to make will be a support for the beam to pull up the weft cross threads.
