Through My Eyes

I haven't had the chance to work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma this week. But the clay continues to absorb moisture.

It has been another terrible week in Tibet. Lobsang Tsultrim a 21 year old monk and Dolkar Tso, a 26 year old mother of young children have walked into the flames. Tonight I overheard Conan O'Brien  on his show say of the Olympics : "... it allows the all the nations of the world to get together in a way that is--- convenient."

The same could be said of interactions of the nations of the world with China in which leaders credit themselves with "bringing up the Tibet issue" while discussing mutual economic interests.  It certainly wasn't convenient for a young mother to leave her children. And it wasn't  for  a young monk to give up a  human existence he regarded as especially precious because it so very hard to obtain and  gives the unique opportunity to attain enlightenment.

Enough convenience.

There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
