Through My Eyes

Continuing work on the sculpture of Tara Drolma! I've decided to change the position of the fingers to show her pulling the cloth out of the water. I've also done a bit more sculpting of the upper and forearm.

Some more views...

I've added a bit of clay to depict the cloth the grip will be shaped around.

Things are coming along quite well! The frame loom is going well also. Here we can see the warp has been completely strung. Now it is time to string the heddle that pulls the warp threads up!

In Tibet the CCP newly appointed leader Padma Choling has welcomed Tibetans who have left Tibet to return to their homes and settle down. He indicated that the doors to Tibet were "always open to them."

Of course the party secretary Chen Quanguo had earlier stated that "the returnees should use their connections with overseas Tibetans to help strengthen the 'patriotic force of overseas compatriots' with their 'maximum'  capacity.

And of course when if they return to do circumambulations around the Johkang Temple in Lhasa they won't recognize what the Barkhor path has become.

There's a lot more to add but as usual two as one we'll add to the notes later beautiful one!
