Through My Eyes
Sunday July 6
( Reading of mirrors again together from Sarangerel's book Chosen by the Spirits!)
" When shamans put on the mirror, they do so with the intention that if they encounter hostile people, dangerous spirits, or negative energy, the mirror will radiate sufficient energy outward to neutralize any danger. For this reason, mirrors are especially good to keep on your person when travelling. Mirrors link into the gol and can pull in and channel incredible amounts of energy. People who have handled shaman mirrors often remark that they experience an electrical or burning sensation when touching them. During shamanic work, shamans can direct energy through the mirror into an area of the patient's body that has been spiritually or physically injured, or they can use the mirror aggressively against a harmful spirit, directly beaming energy at the spirit.
The absorbing and radiating capabilities of a mirror come in handy for removal of intrusions and soul retrieval. In the removal of intrusions, the intruding spirit can be sucked up into a mirror and then expelled into the earth by placing the mirror on the ground facedown. This is helpful because the shaman will have no direct contact with the spirit and there is no risk of accidentally absorbing it into her own spiritual body. In a journey for soul retrieval, the mirror can be hold the soul when it has been found. Then the mirror can be touched to the chest of the person being healed so that it enters the setgel and reincorporates into the body. In healing, a bowl of water, vodka or milk can be placed on top of a mirror to instantly convert it into arshaan ( energized liquid used in purification and in healing). " I promise to add more tomorrow...

( Tahshi, gentle one! The fruit trees near the studio are doing well although things have grown up quite a bit around them! I did a bit more on our lotus blossoms and of course some more spinning. I've just realized that we have a lot of pictures to work with; a bit over nine thousand since last year! I'll add our wildflowers for the week so we can visit them as always.
And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow
my one gentle beautiful patient dream bright
long dark mane in sunlight
so for now I bid goodnight...Simjah Nahngo! )
( please see my spinning for you!)
