( I put the pieces of conduit next to each tree and did some more scything. Then the rain started to come down hard so I headed down to the studio. I'm hoping to start learning Tibetan tomorrow and work on a Windhorse project, the studio and our info site. I'm still quite behind in the Grove though so it's hard to tell yet how much I will get done. Turns out the mega fast USB port for the external hard drive was the wrong part so I'll have to order another. I've still got to work on the microphone problem to see why it isn't recording well. The new repellant for Groundhog came in but I'm going to try not using it as it is designed to frighten him away. Since he was there to begin with and hasn't troubled the trees before this I'm hoping all the activity will put a stop to it. So far it seems to be the case. Our independent effort of the heart is portable of course if it needs to be and is not the property of any particular state or even a particular nation. Still though, it is good to be close to the earth, particularly at this spot. Tough as it is to grow and create things ( and it really is tough at times!) it is beautiful and sacred here and I look forward to the day when you and I will greet spiritual friends to respectfully share in our vision and effort as we have created it together in attunement with Nature and Spirit. Friends who believe in purity,ahimsa, harmlessness, the way of peace over the way of violence, reverent compassion for living beings, individual freedom to grow unimpeded...friends like Pam and Mike! However, you must help me to create the vision and so I wait patiently. And sometimes not so patiently; I get pretty angry at some of the imposing nonsense, the subtle and not so subtle cruelties. I have faith in us though gentle one, as I know you do too.
