Here we're looking at our latest residents to the Grove. There are several thousand in this bag! ( I've seen some of them in the new planting already. I still have them in the refrigerator and will be sending more out in the next few days.) I promise to add more tomorrow...

Through my eyes

( Tahshi, gentle one! I worked in the new planting anchoring in the fences and scything a bit. Unfortunately, Groundhog and Rabbit have gotten there first and hurt a few of them. I've spread more repellant as I don't have much choice. They do a lot of damage quickly! The repellant is actually fox urine and frightens them off. I don't like using it but repellants that make the leaves smell and taste bad don't work well with Groundhogs. My thought is to scare them off for now and then plant clover at the top for them to chew up. This will be adequate I believe. Mom has gotten over 50 quarts of strawberries. There may not be much more though as many are rotting now from all the rain.I ended up staying up really late working on the soundfile so I'd better rest.

And so, as always we'll continue two as one on to tomorrow
