a land of Tibet

Here's a few initial drawings and notes I'm making to gain some understanding. I'm using this paper because it comes in a big roll and can be used to cover the bench afterwards since these are just initial notes after all! I'll add the sculpture part later. In general it's this enormous plateau about 14,000 -16000 feet above sea level surrounded by even higher mountains on all sides. It all generally slopes slightly from Northwest to Southeast. The top sketch is a side view as seen looking over the edge of the earth. A bit rough beautiful one but a start!
