A bit of a mess. ( This was what I had to work on today! It was necessary to cut all the trunks of this spirit elm tree whose spirit had gone on to another tree. It was sad; the birds had loved to perch here. Also it was difficult of course as the trunk is a couple of feet across in the larger sections.) I promise to add more tomorrow...

( Tahshi, gentle beautiful one! I'm sharing with you the tough as well as the good after all now! That storm last night was very powerful. As I came down the hill the bushes and grass were being pushed almost parallel to the ground in spots with the wind. I asked for protection long enough to finish unloading the wagon and get down and across the stream which I recieved. At one point I thought of taking a picture on the way down but realized immediately that this would have been disrespectful. The rain was good to have though, we got an entire inch of rain which will really be good for the trees at the top. At the top the grade is quite steep and between that and the soils sandy texture, the water is lost rather quickly. I had to use the chainsaw which I don't like much as they are noisy dangerous things and the sound reminds me of the loss of a tree being which is always sad regardless of the circumstances. It is much faster though and those lines would have been impossible to clear by hand. They might have fallen in the next storm and the lines couldn't have sustained more of this.Everything worked out for the best here and we have the electric and phone back with out too much injury to the lines. I hope you are feeling well and accomplishing everything you want to. Let's read some more from the Tibetan language book if you would like and then rest.
